Keep Mrs. Sage’s Spirit Going – Donate!
Mashashimuet Park was a philanthropic gift from Mrs. Russell Sage to provide healthy and wholesome recreation for the youth and young people of Sag Harbor, especially those working in the factories. Upon her death, the Park was given to the care of the Parks & Recreation Association of Sag Harbor. Mashashimuet Park functions as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
As it is owned independent of the Village of Sag Harbor, the Town of Southampton, Suffolk County or New York State, it does not receive public funding for maintenance or operation costs. All revenue for Mashashimuet Park comes from contracts for use of services and private donations.
Your financial support to maintain and improve the facilities at the Park will help this generation and those to come continue enjoying a lovely environment for health and recreation. All donations are greatly appreciated.
